This just in and just in time for the weekend!!!

Alright all of you lovely Luxies...have you been waiting for the latest and greatest to arrive here at Luxe? Then wait no more, two fabulous new products have just hit our shelves!

Dreaming of lounging on the beach sipping cocktails in Morocco this summer, but you're more likely to be keeping it local at Town Lake? Not to worry my friends, Luxe brings a little bit of that luxury treatment found only on exotic vacations right into your own home! Allow me to introduce you to Moroccan Oil. This wonder product comes with a list of celebrity endorsements including Salma Hayek, Debra Messing, Marion Cotillard, and celebrity hair stylist Ken Paves, just to name a few. Not to mention it has been featured as the must have product in every fashion magazine, including In Style's latest "Best of Beauty" issue. Made from their signature all natural Aragan Oil found only in South Morocco, this styling, finishing, and conditioning product restores your hair's vitality and boosts it to new levels of both silkiness and shine.

Moroccan Oil contains "powerful antioxidant, UV protection and free radical neutralizers rich in vitamins that strengthen the hair and increase it's elasticity." As the product absorbs into the hair instantly, it is said that the hair looks and feels healthier after just ONE application! Want to take your hair from lackluster to luxurious? Try Moroccan Oil for the extra silky, natural finish and brilliant shine that you are craving for this summer.

Pondering over what to get that special graduate? Slaving over trying to find a unique, original idea that will commemorate their milestone day? Look no further than Dogeared necklaces to make your job a little bit easier. We here at Luxe just received a fabulous selection of the newest Dogeared designs, many of which make the ideal gift to show just how much you care. Some of the latest mantras include Graduation, Dream, Strength and Power, and Freedom. All of which are featured on a beautiful sterling silver or gold dipped chain, adorned with an adorable signature charm that begs to be worn everyday. The great thing about these necklaces are their ability to be layered with other pieces to create a statement-making look or you can wear them alone as your favorite signature piece. Either way, Dogeared necklaces are the perfect way to say "Congratulations" and give them a reminder of their accomplishments that they'll wear for years to come.

Also, if your social calendar isn't already booked for the evening, make sure to come join Luxe for Chick Nite at our local Chick-Fil-A on Braker & 183. Tonight's event will feature free makeovers, nail color touch ups, massages, styling, and free giveaways! Stop by tonight from 5:30-8:00 to get in on the stylish fun. We'll see you there!

Kristen Bell loves Phillip Lim

I noticed a picture the other day of Kristen Bell wearing a Phillip Lim trapeze top, and while she looked cute I couldn't help but think of the way cuter skirt we have here at luxe apothetique in the same pattern!

And as the weather heats up, I have been noticing a lot of cute statement skirts with tank tops. The look is casual but more stylish than shorts and a T-shirt, and I am loving that everyone is wearing them with flats.

This skirt with a grey tank would be so cute with sandals or ballet flats, and perfect for the hot Texas weather we've been having!

Gwyneth Paltrow's Picks for Spring

I'm still not quite sold on Gwyneth Paltrow's new lifestyle website, GOOP, but I am definitely in love with her wardrobe staples section!

In a recent post, Gwyneth went over her list of spring must-haves. One of her top picks was a nautical striped print that she calls a "classic French t-shirt." Luxe apothetique has a version by Marc Jacobs with a fun twist on the style that "looks right in spring year after year." I would pair mine with pointy black flats or even some of the new gladiators we're seeing everywhere for a pulled together, on-trend look!

If the though of wearing a jumpsuit makes you cringe, then you just haven't seen the new one from Twelfth Street by Cynthia Vincent. It's classy enough to wear on a night out instead of a dress if you're looking for a good alternative!

Gwyneth put her own spin on the trend, noting that jumpsuits "are making a comeback in a big way." And if a black one isn't adventurous enough for you, luxe also has a  green jumpsuit by Rory Beca that might be more your taste! Add some brown gladiators and chunky jewelry, and you have an entire outfit!

Distressed and boyfriend jeans are still really popular this season. Gwyneth didn't mention them on the website, but she really didn't have too. Anything goes with them (except maybe jumpsuits). And we just got in some new Current/Elliots that I can't wait to have in my closet!

Happy Shopping

Torn Tanks Take it Up a Notch

It's that time again in Austin. Time to break out the self tanner, cut-off shorts, and breezy tops. Today's 90 degree forecast got me thinking; what pieces from Luxe's fabulous new spring collection do I want to welcome in as my summer staples?

It seems I've had my eye on one collection in particular--tank tops from Torn by Ronny Kobo. Nothing suits my boho-chic summer wardrobe more than a lightweight, sexy, adorned tank that is more sizzle than simple. Once those temperatures begin to rise, I find myself wanting to take the comfortable, casual route with an easy tank top and jean shorts ensemble. But who wants to be blah when the summer is blazing?! That's why I love these Torn tanks. Throw one on with a pair of our Sevens, Current Elliot, or Anlo jean cut off shorts and get ready for the festivities of summer! The perfect mix of flair and function, Torn tanks provide a shortcut to summer chic.

My personal favorite and next Luxe purchase is the white tank with embellished elephant graphic. It's vibrant with color, and mixes in metallic details that compliment my gladiator sandals to perfection. Plus, the breeziness and light color of this tank keeps me from getting too heated and ensures I will be looking cool.

Other highlights include a cobalt blue tank with black zebra head graphic, cheetahs perched on a white backdrop to bring out your inner animal, and fabulous burnout prints that are sure to please.

But what I love about these tanks even more than their stylish accents are the price! Ranging from $68 to $75 dollars, Torn tanks are an easy addition to any closet and make for an instant summer favorite. Plus, I know that I will be rocking these racer back tanks time, and time again. I can even pair it with a high waisted skirt and heels for a hot night on the town. Celebrities love Torn tanks, too! Everyone from Gossip Girl's Leighton Meister, Lindsey Lohan, and Lauren Conrad are crazy for Kobo!

From festivals to summer lovin' date nights, Torn tanks fit into any occasion. Layer with a vest, throw it on over a swimsuit, or pair it with skinny jeans and lots of accessories. One thing's for sure, the possibilities are endless! Come checkout our selection at Luxe and start your summer off right!

Elizabeth and James is thriving

The New York Daily News has just written a piece in their fashion column about Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen's successful upscale line Elizabeth and James, which we just happen to carry at luxe apothetique

Most celeb-owned brands haven't been doing so well lately.  Lauren Conrad has put her designs "on hiatus" for the time being, Mandy Moore's Mblem line of clothing has folded, and Victoria Beckham's overpriced jeans have become somewhat of a joke.  The economy is in bad shape, but so may be their designs.

But the economy hasn't seemed to affect Mary Kate and Ashley's Elizabeth and James.  Ken Downing, a senior VP fashion director, calls the line a "bright spot" for retailers, explaining,  "The twins have really done an excellent job on making the product a star."

Lots of celebrities love it just as much as we do at luxe apothetique!

At luxe, we have gorgeous pieces from their new spring line, like must-have maxi dresses and ombre plaid shirts that will look super cute with shorts over the summer!

We also have other lines that are similar to Elizabeth and James and are still big sellers here at luxe, like Rory Becca, Milly, and Rachel Pally. New shipments come in about three times per week, so check back with us every so often!
